Where Maison Bridal works, and where we are building next
We introduce UK wedding planners to vetted photographers and videographers in destinations where they have no existing relationships. Every destination below is marked honestly, so you always know whether a shortlist is available today or still being built.
Vetted professionals are in place. Planners can request a shortlist for an upcoming wedding.
We are completing reviews and agreements. Professionals can apply now; planners can register interest.
We are actively seeking our first photographers and videographers in these destinations.
The Caribbean
Established across several Caribbean islands, with three new markets now recruiting. Island weddings depend on suppliers who understand boat transfers, weather windows and small-island logistics.
British Virgin Islands
Tortola · Virgin Gorda · Jost Van Dyke
Beach, villa and yacht-based weddings across a chain of small islands. Logistics run by boat, so photographers and videographers who know the water, the light and the timings are essential.
- Beach ceremonies
- Villa weddings
- Yacht & island hopping
Cayman Islands
Grand Cayman · Seven Mile Beach
A British Overseas Territory known for polished resort and beachfront weddings. Suppliers are English-speaking and the destination suits couples who want a low-friction Caribbean option.
- Beachfront resorts
- Villa weddings
- Small ceremonies
Bermuda
Hamilton · St George's · South Shore
Pink-sand beaches, historic stone ruins and pastel-painted streets. Geographically in the North Atlantic rather than the Caribbean, and a favourite for smaller, design-led weddings.

- Intimate weddings
Southern Europe
Our established home markets, Portugal and Spain, with five more Mediterranean destinations opening through the autumn as vetting is completed.
Portugal
Lisbon · Sintra · Douro Valley · Algarve

- Palaces & quintas
- Wine estates
- Algarve coast
Spain
Mallorca · Andalusia · Costa Brava · Basque Country
Stone fincas in the Mallorcan hills, whitewashed Andalusian cortijos and hidden Costa Brava coves. A deep local supplier base and one of the longest wedding seasons in Europe.
- Mallorca fincas
- Andalusian estates
- Coastal coves
Italy
Amalfi Coast · Tuscany · Lake Como · Puglia
Cliff-top terraces on the Amalfi Coast, Tuscan villas and lakeside estates. Ceremony rules for international couples vary by region, so local experience matters more here than almost anywhere.
- Amalfi & Positano
- Tuscan villas
- The Italian lakes
Greece
Santorini · Mykonos · Athens Riviera · Corfu
Sunset ceremonies above the Aegean and long tables on stone terraces. Island logistics, ferry timings and summer winds mean planners need crews who work the islands regularly.
- Cycladic islands
- Athens Riviera
- Ionian islands
Croatia
Dubrovnik · Split · Hvar · Istria
Pine-shaded coastline, walled old towns and island venues along the Dalmatian coast, with a quieter, truffle-country alternative in Istria. Season runs roughly May to October.
- Dalmatian coast
- Island venues
- Istrian estates
Malta
Valletta · Mdina · Gozo
Baroque palazzi, walled gardens and honey-stone bastions on a compact island, so transfer times between venues are short. English is an official language.
- Palazzi & gardens
- Historic fortifications

Cyprus
Paphos · Limassol · Troodos foothills
Cliffside and seaside venues with a long warm season. A well-established destination for international couples, with English widely spoken across the wedding industry.

Northern Europe
Dramatic landscapes, midnight light and elopement-led weddings. We are recruiting our first photographers and videographers in each country.
Iceland
South Coast · Snæfellsnes · Highlands
Waterfalls, black-sand beaches and glacier landscapes, mostly for elopements and small weddings. Light, weather and access shape every shoot, so terrain-savvy specialists are essential.
- Waterfall elopements
- Black-sand beaches
- Small weddings
Finland
Lakeland · Helsinki archipelago · Lapland
Lakeside and island weddings in the bright summer months and aurora-season elopements in Lapland. Suited to couples who want a distinctive alternative to the usual destinations.
- Lakeside weddings
- Archipelago islands
- Aurora elopements
Lithuania
Vilnius · Trakai · Baltic lakeland
Old-town Vilnius, lakeside castles and countryside manors. An emerging option for couples who want atmosphere, character and good value away from the crowded Western European circuit.
- Manor houses
- Old-town venues
- Lakeside estates
America
Central and North America. Central American markets are recruiting now, with the United States and Canada to follow.
Costa Rica
Arenal · Guanacaste · Pacific coast
Volcano-view ceremonies, rainforest venues and Pacific beaches. The green season brings afternoon rain, so experienced local crews who plan around the weather are important.
- Volcano views
- Rainforest venues
- Pacific beaches
Panama
Panama City · Casco Viejo · Bocas del Toro
A colonial old town in Panama City, Pacific beaches and Caribbean-side islands. Still an under-served destination for UK planners, with very few vetted suppliers online.
- Casco Viejo
- Island weddings
- Rainforest lodges
Guatemala
Antigua · Lake Atitlán · Volcano highlands
Ruined convents and colonial courtyards in Antigua, plus lake and volcano-view fincas around Atitlán. Dramatic, atmospheric settings for couples who want something genuinely different.

Before you enquire
Which destinations are open for planner shortlists?
Portugal, Spain and selected Caribbean islands are established. Every other destination is labelled either “Opening soon” or “Recruiting now”. If a destination is still recruiting, we will tell you so and let you know when a shortlist is available.
How do you vet photographers and videographers?
Every professional is reviewed on four points before any introduction is made: portfolio quality against high-end UK editorial standards, communication reliability, professional integrity (they sign our mutual agreement), and verified experience in their specific destination.
When do the “Opening soon” destinations go live?
Italy, Croatia and Greece are planned for October 2026, and Malta and Cyprus for December 2026. Dates can move if vetting for a destination is not complete, and we would rather delay than list a market without the right people in it.
How does Maison Bridal charge?
We charge a 10% success fee on bookings confirmed through a Maison Bridal introduction. A £200 / €200 assignment deposit is taken at the start of an assignment and credited against the final commission.
My destination is not listed. Can I still apply?
Yes. Send us your details and where you work. We review applications for every destination, listed or not, and use them to decide where to recruit next.
Planning a wedding, or working in a destination we are opening?
Planners can request a shortlist for established destinations. Photographers and videographers can apply for any destination on this page, or tell us where else you work.
