Partner Onboarding & Assignment Guide

How our network works, how studios are selected and presented, and what happens the moment a studio is chosen for a specific wedding.

Section 1 — Who We Are — Maison Bridal
1Who We Are

A representation network, not a marketplace.

Maison Bridal is a Planner Representation Network operated by The Wedding Business Hub Limited, a UK-registered company.

We work with wedding planners across destination wedding markets, including Europe, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and America. Planners share upcoming wedding briefs with us, and we research, shortlist, and present a few carefully selected photographers and videographers for consideration.

We are not an open marketplace. We represent specific studios for specific wedding assignments.

Section 2 — How Studios Are Selected — The Ever Vow
2How Studios Are Selected

Each shortlist stays intentionally small.

We present a few carefully selected studios per assignment based on style, portfolio quality, destination experience, availability, and the specific requirements of the planner and couple.

Being identified as a preferred studio means the planner has independently reviewed your portfolio and selected your studio as one of their top choices for that specific wedding.

Section 3 — How the Selection Process Works — The Ever Vow
3How the Selection Process Works

A fair, simultaneous process — decided by speed of confirmation.

1
Preferred choices identified
After we recommend a few carefully selected studios, the planner and couple make the final decision and identify two as their preferred choices.
2
Both studios contacted simultaneously
We then contact both studios at the same time to confirm availability and begin the confirmation process. Both preferred studios are given an equal opportunity to proceed.
3
Assignment secured to the first to confirm
The assignment is secured exclusively to the studio that completes the confirmation process first.
The Moment You Confirm

Once your studio completes the confirmation process:

The assignment is secured exclusively in your name
The other preferred studio is released
The planner is formally notified that their photographer has been confirmed
We proceed with coordinating the booking call
Section 4 — Why Formal Commitment Is Required — Maison Bridal
4Why Formal Commitment Is Required

Consideration becomes a commercial commitment.

Once a planner identifies your studio as a preferred choice, formal confirmation is required before the assignment can be secured.

i

Planner Confidence

Our planners rely on us to formally confirm studios that are verified and genuinely committed. Once they have identified your studio as a preferred choice, they need confidence that your studio has accepted the assignment before closing their photographer search.

ii

Mutual Commitment

At this stage, the commitment becomes mutual. The planner is putting their reputation behind your studio with the couple, while Maison Bridal is putting its reputation behind your studio with the planner. We therefore require formal confirmation rather than relying on a verbal indication of interest.

iii

Releasing the Other Preferred Studio

The other preferred studio is being contacted at the same time. Once your studio formally completes the confirmation process, the other studio is released and the assignment is secured exclusively in your name.

iv

The Success Fee Is Settled After the Wedding

The Success Fee becomes payable after the wedding takes place. For destination weddings, this may be many months or over a year after selection. We do not invoice the Success Fee before the wedding because the wedding may be cancelled. Because the Success Fee is deferred until after the wedding, a formal commitment point is required when the assignment is secured.

The Mutual Agreement & Assignment Confirmation establishes that commitment.

Section 5 — Assignment Confirmation — The Ever Vow
5 Assignment Confirmation

Mutual Agreement & £200 Assignment Confirmation

Once you confirm your availability and accept the preferred assignment, we issue the Mutual Agreement and £200 Assignment Confirmation invoice simultaneously.

The Assignment Confirmation is required before the booking call is arranged. Once received, we immediately secure the assignment exclusively in your name, release the other preferred studio, and formally confirm to the planner that their photographer has been secured.

What completing the confirmation process triggers
Reserved The assignment is secured in your name immediately.
Released The other preferred studio is released from consideration.
Confirmed We formally notify the planner that their photographer has been secured.
Booking Call We proceed with coordinating the introductory call between you, the planner, and the couple.
i

The £200 is part of your existing 10% Success Fee — not an additional charge. It is credited in full against the commission once the wedding is complete.

Section 6 — How Payments Work — Maison Bridal
6How Payments Work

The booking sits directly between you and the couple.

The wedding booking is directly between the couple and your studio. Maison Bridal does not collect the couple's booking payments on your behalf.

Couple → Studio The couple pays 50% of the booking amount directly to your studio following the booking call to confirm the wedding dates.
Couple → Studio The remaining 50% is paid directly to your studio one month before the wedding.
Studio → Maison Bridal The standard 10% Success Fee is invoiced after the wedding day under the applicable Mutual Agreement. The £200 Assignment Confirmation is credited in full against that Success Fee.

You therefore pay 10% in total, never 10% plus £200.

Yes. You are welcome to independently verify the company through Companies House.

The NDA is mutual — it applies to both parties equally. It protects confidential information shared through the network, including wedding briefs, planner and couple details, assignment discussions and pricing. Because our assignments involve private client information shared in confidence, confidentiality is fundamental to how the network operates.

Maison Bridal operates as a private planner representation network, not a public marketplace or social-media lead-generation platform. Our work is relationship-based and assignment-specific, with planners sharing briefs privately and selected studios being presented for those assignments. Our company details are independently verifiable through Companies House.

We understand why you may want an independent reference. Our planners come to us specifically for curated, vetted studios, and that curation is the service they rely on. Direct introductions outside the formal process could bypass that network, so we maintain strict confidentiality across all participating parties.

You are welcome to verify The Wedding Business Hub Limited through Companies House independently. Once your studio is onboarded and a suitable assignment is available, we arrange a direct call with the relevant planner and couple.
